Dr. med. Günther Brandt[Note 1] (1 October 1898 – 4 July 1973) was a Korvettenkapitän of the Reserves with the Kriegsmarine during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.
Brandt was also an SS officer with the final rank of Obersturmbannführer. He joined the Nazi Party with membership #2,579,863 and the SS as member #107,079.
